1.18 The Trip – Part 2

When we were done at the museum I asked the boys what they wanted to do. Of course, they all wanted to go fishing. There was a contest to be won after all. So, I asked the man at the museum and he informed me of this large pond up in the hills that was suppose to have the best fishing spots. So, off we went and as the sun started setting we arrived at the pond. As the boys fell asleep in their room I headed downstairs and noticed a board in the lobby with tons of posters. As I read them I was shocked that they were all postings for adventurers to go out on explorations. What an experience! I worried for my boys, but the one I was most interested in didn’t say I had to agree right now, just meet up with them to get the full details. I ran out of the hotel and down the street to the meeting place – inside a relic store of all places. I brought the slip of paper to the register and asked the woman behind the counter who pointed me to a lady standing near the corner. I approached her and as she turned I lost all thought. Then, we reached a room which required all the brain power the four of us could muster. I was so happy and relieved that my boys had accompanied me. Although they couldn’t help with the switches, their way of thinking was better than my own – perhaps it was their innocent imagination. At any rate, if not for them we would never have made it all the way through.
