I'm a homebrew and I recently got a grinding mill Monster 3 (http://www.monsterbrewinghardware.com/mm-3.html). My wife was interested in making their own bread, even grinding their own grain. I was hoping that since you can set aside rolls 0-0065 "it would be able to use the mill to make her own flour. I tried to do some research but it seems that very few people use mills to make flour. Is this true? Is it possible to make this kind of flour mill? Or she really need another type of mill to make flour?

Sorry to say it will not work with flour for baking is much thinner than a type of roller mills that homebrewers use to crack the grain. I used to homebrew "all grain" lagers and beers in my youth with several bags of 50 pounds of malt in my basement and a wide variety of specialty grains ... The good news is for about $ 250, you have a very happy woman cooking with a plant that is expected to last several years. Mine is still going strong after 15 years. If you set it to zero, nothing will happen. If you set so anything can happen, broken kernels pass through this size in one dimension. In another dimension, they will be whatever size they may be. Consider oats as an example. Rolled oats are the thickness of the roller gap that created them, but much wider in the other two dimensions. Flour is abraded or break the grain into pieces that are small in three dimensions.
Maybe you can sell it as a way to make freshly rolled grains for breakfast cereals?Mills are often not good at that.

He did a good job of creating flakes (for cooked cereal, dipping, etc.) He claims to be capable of producing flour at the finest setting. It does not. It produces something that is not exactly flakes, but is a coarse flour of very poor quality - not really suited to be the primary grain in bread baking.
