Police incident reports for Warrenton

Compiled from selected police department reports

1. Property damage. Reported June 13 in the 200 block of Richmond Drive. A trunk lock of a parked vehicle was pulled out, damaging the trunk lid in the amount of $1,154.

2. Property damage. Reported June 14 in the 200 block of Jaspering Lane. Pry marks were found on the door and surrounding sheet metal on a concession trailer parked at Jaspering Park. Damage was estimated at $100.

3. Stealing. Reported June 14 in the 200 block of West Booneslick Road. An iPod Touch was reported stolen from a pants pocket while the victim was staying at a friend's house. Attempts to contact others who were there at the time have been unsuccessful.

4. Stealing. Reported June 15 in the 700 block of east Veterans Memorial Parkway. Responding to a report of two males tipping over a soda machine, police located a 17-year-old male and a 20-year-old male nearby who were carrying bottles of rum. Both admitted throwing a stop sign through the back window of a vehicle parked on McKinley Avenue. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $225. The duo were also seen on Walmart security cameras stealing the rum, valued at $9.97 for each bottle. Each was charged with shoplifting, property damage and a minor in possession of alcohol.

5. Stealing. Reported June 16 in the 400 block of Roy Avenue. An Ethos OBD (On Board Diagnostics) scanner was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

6. Burglary. Reported June 16 in the 800 block of West Booneslick Road. A policeman's hat was reported stolen by intruders who entered through an unsecured rear window. The hat was valued at $30. Damage to the window was estimated at $300.

7. DWI. Reported June 16 on westbound Interstate 70. Stopped for driving without tail lights, the 31-year-old male driver and a 31-year-old male passenger were arrested. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, unlawful use of a weapon, careless and imprudent driving, driving without tail lights and resisting arrest. The passenger was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon.

8. Burglary. Reported June 17 in the 700 block of East Booneslick Road. Various household, electronic and personal items were reported stolen from a residence. Suspects were located in a nearby apartment. A 30-year-old man was arrested for receiving stolen property. An 18-year-old woman was arrested for receiving stolen property and taken into custody for having two outstanding warrants. A 31-year-old man was arrested for burglary, stealing and for having an active outstanding warrant.
